Base on other people’s reviews I ordered a size up and now I will have to modify the tankini, to so it will fit better. Without Prime every item takes 3 weeks to ship to me! I don’t have the time to wait 3 weeks for an exchange. The top is too long! It goes past the edges of the shorts, and my legs feel itchy as a result. I plan to make the top shorter. It will change the appearance of the design, so I am frustrated that I ordered a size up. I am debating on taking the top in as well. I feel there is too much material! The shorts are a little loose as well and strangely dip at the back. I had to double check that I didn’t put the shorts on backwards. The dip is a design flaw. My recommendation is if you can afford it, get 2 sizes and see which one fits best. I don’t think there is a standard size pattern for all the swim suits. It is probably hit and miss by pattern.
