I've been an avid WeatherTech user for years. All my previous cars had their custom fitted floor liners. But my last set of WeatherTech liners had some issues. The issue I had was that the rear liner didn't fully protect the rear footwell area. (The center arch didn't get any coverage and that's still an area where a lot of foot traffic occurs when you have rear passengers) Another issue was that the rear liners would curl inwards and eventually not fit properly as they were meant to. Did I mention that the thickness and quality was far less superior than the front liners? I used my warranty option for a new rear set but the problem persisted. They even sent me Velcro stickers to help set the floor liners in place but they fell flat (too bad not literally)So that's where I decided to look into other options/companies. I was surprised to see that a lot of companies now offer custom fit floor liners, I think WeatherTech has become a bit lax in their coverage department seeing how they reigned supreme for so many years without threat from other companies.I did some research and found the 3D Maxpider met most of my needs. They're custom fit (they fit extremely well), weather resistant, stylish, clean, minimal, and most importantly cover the rear arch for the rear footwell. One thing I really like about the 3D Maxpider is that it does all that and simply looks good. I would have no problem throwing in 3D Maxpider liners into a luxury vehicle. I have these liners in my 2017 Audi A4 and am happy with how they look.With these 3D Maxpiders you get extended coverage in your footwell area. For example, the liner in the front goes well beyond just the base of the pedals and reaches higher up to protect that area and more. It even covers a good portion under your seat, so regardless of your seating position you're always covered. I like the fact that the foot liner grommets are covered and aren't exposed so it doesn't invite small dust and crumbs to eventually fall through the hole while being used.The edges of the liner are rounded a bit so when they make contact with the carpet they create a sort of 'seal' to further prevent dirt and dust from going through the liner. I haven't had issues with the liners moving around or shift and they are holding up very well with no signs of wear and tear. It's very easy to clean and makes my interior detailing that much more easier.The rear footwell liner for my vehicle came in three pieces. The center piece has it's own separate liner that you tuck under the liners on each side. I was very impressed with the fitment and again no issues with the liners moving or shifting. The liners have remained their shape and I'm happy to report that they have not curled inward!I'm very happy with this liner. 3D Maxpider has the right idea and formula and I hope to use more of their products in the future. I've noticed they also make custom fit trunk cargo mats and I hope to have one for my vehicle soon.
